Obit of the IVV Europe in memory of its President Gérard Wohl:

We are deeply saddened by the death of our 1^st President, founder and initiator of the 1^st Europiade.

Gérard Wohl has lost the battle against a cruel disease and passed away on March 13, 2013 at the age of 70.

His know-how and his tireless work for the popular sports will be an example for all of us. We are losing a personality and we owe him so much.

The IVV Europe thanks him for his devotional and voluntary dedication, his readiness to help and we express our deepest sympathy to his wife Marie-Thérèse and his family.

The IVV Europe is bemourning its 1st President, founder and initiator of the 1st Europiade

Gérard Wohl has lost the battle against a cruel disease and passed away on March 13, 2013 at the age of 70.

We bow to a friend who was an example for all of us, we thank him for his tireless and exemplary work for the popular sports. We are very sad and we express our deepest sympathy to his family and all those who are mourning.

We will say goodbye to Gérard on Friday, March 15^th, 2013 at 3 p.m. on the cemetery of Echternach. After this, there will be a mass in the Basilica in Echternach.
